My Experience Co-founding a B2B SaaS App Ecosystem
& Business Intelligence Consultancy for Dental Clinics

 
 

TLDR

Co-founded Arthur Intelligence, a startup dedicated to simplifying business analytics for dental clinics. Over the years, it evolved into a near-360° dental clinic consultancy and still runs today under the umbrella of Évolution Santé.

My role included iterating on our business model to achieve product-market fit, branding, UI/UX for our apps, marketing, and eventually consulting with dentists on brand strategy & identity, web design & more.

Backstory

In 2016, Gregory Benko, Philippe Hébert & myself founded Arthur Intelligence: Quebec’s best analytics app for dental clinics.

Arthur simplifies complex data into simple-to-understand reports, so dentists can lead their teams with clarity & confidence while better serving their patients.

By necessity, what started as a high-level KPI tracking app bloomed into an entire ecosystem including executive coaching for dentists & their teams, and an exclusive online community for continued education & professional growth.

The Settings App

Since dental clinics & their goals change over time, Arthur Insights has its dedicated settings app to configure clinic info, users, objectives, integrations & more.

The settings app is nothing crazy, visually speaking, but it was a true UX challenge to identify & deliver the most valuable set of features for the specific needs of dental clinics while maintaining simplicity, clarity & ease of use.

When we started in 2016, no one had built anything like our product, so customer discovery was at the core of our development process.

Montreal Mushroom Festival

Creating the Image of a Brand New Gathering —

TLDR

As founder Bala Yeruva’s right-hand man, I created the public-facing aspects of the festival: brand strategy, brand identity, web design & social media. I also worked with our event decorator, VJ & caterers to bring life to our space.

I also hosted the 2024 edition as Master of Ceremonies, presenting talks & guiding panel discussions with our special guests.

 
 

As festival celebrating the gifts of nature, fungi & psychedelic experiences, MMF’s visual identity is full of sunshine & positive energy!

 
 

Backstory

After a near-death experience in British Columbia, my friend Bala benefited greatly from functional & psychedelic mushrooms in his journey to recovery.

In a spirit of gratitude & wonder towards the powerful potentials of fungi, Bala reached out to me to co-create this one-of-a-kind Montreal-based festival.

It’s been a wonderful experience building it from the ground up together; meeting brilliant & insightful thinkers, discovering fungi-related projects both local and international, and hosting the event itself.

We’re blessed to have had wonderful collaborators & a team of over 30 volunteers for the big weekend. Thank you guys!
